LITTLE BLACK DRESS
LITTLE BLACK DRESS
This dress combines my grandmother’s knock-off Issey Miyake tank with a Betsey Johnson silk skirt I purchased at a vintage store in 2003. I wore the skirt to the Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King premiere in NYC, where I had the unforgettable experience of meeting all four hobbits (sean, elijah, billy and dom!!!) !!! At the hip, the dress is adorned with a silver chain necklace I bought at the Grand Market Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey when I was 17, in 2006, along with two faux gold beads I found at a street market in Florence in April 2024
